Its fun, it goes to a good cause (Emmanuel), and is not much more than a good nightout with a few beers.

Furthermore, I did it because I've got a lot out of seatcupra.net - I know a hell of a lot more about cars than I did 6 months (18500 miles) ago, when I'd just got my car, and within 24hrs of getting it, some idiot had reversed into it, scratching the front bumper, and I didn't know what to do to get rid of the scratch. :)
