Interior lights not working on Ibiza Cupra mk5

I was trying to unattach my interior lights (map reading lights) and didn't realise it was held in by two screws. After trying to pull it out I undid the screw and noticed that the spring behind the sliding switch had come lose. If fitted it back but now when I go to turn the light on I can hear a ticking sound come from within the dash board. The ticking also happens when I switch my head lights on. Can any when help with this problem? Thanks

Mine did this when I changed the Bulb in the boot (I left the power On to test the new lamp :blink: ) and I found out that I had blown a fuse while trying to test the polarity of the new light (LED). The clicking was the car flashing some of the lamps that did work in an SOS pattern.

Changed the fuse out and it worked perfectly (I THINK it was fuse 48 or something like that, but I cant remember 100%)
