Some say less than 7. Some say nearly 8. Split the difference say 7.5sec.
Not that 0-60 means anything....0-100 is a better judge of a fast car. Less than 5 sec to 100 and you hav a very fast one. :D

0-60s suck.... 50-70s are nicer on TDIs

Exactly.

30-50, 50-70 are the more realistic times you need to look at.
I love going from 30-50+mph in mine. Makes me grin every time! :D

I had a graph from a sprint at GTI international last year in mine with a crap start it was mid 7s.

Bear in mind I'm a fat Bas***d and my stereo weighed as much as another passenger.

Edit wasn't a graph. could have been a bunch of numbers in a kind of table though. I forget. I'm getting old and senile.

Reminds me of the time I did a 1/4mile sprint at gti international a year or so ago......

What sort of 0-100 time then, around 18-19 secs roughly? Anyone done a test with proper timing gear?

About 18sec to 100 is prob the on the quick side. Standard car is 22.5 so that would be knocking a good chunk of it. Standard LCR is hight 17s so its still compatable with that. And its quicker than a Cupra.

30-70 through the gears is a far better judge of a cars performance as it does not take into account a start line start that can cost seconds.

As a standard TDI130 has been tested by autocar at 30-70 in 7.5 seconds i would hope the chipped 180 was far quicker at least over a second quicker.

Pretty sure autocar tested one and it was 22.5sec, might be wrong.
