Hi all ive just bought a yellow leon cupra R and i love it :roflmao: . Just a few questions though, can anyone give me any tips that may come in useful, i.e. i wish i new that before! I have seen that cruise control can be fitted after, bout ould that affect the warrenty etc, as i would like to have it fitted? and finally the Sat Nav system, are there any which someone can sugest that fit like a standard unit? i.e not one that pops out of the CD player as i want mine to look like standard.

Your fitting standard VAG parts to a VAG car, get this done by a reputable dealer and I can;t see it affecting the warranty.
Try AmD and Stealth, Stealth should be cheaper do some search's on 'Cruise Control'
Suggest you do a search - You'll find all the info in other threads...

My local dealer wont fit the Cruise control, i have been reading the treads but no mention of warrenty. the only point that concerns me is atht its not a standard/optional extra. It would be like putiing my heels and breaks on an arosa, there standard parts but not for that vehicle, therfore it invalidates the warrenty!

If there is a problem the onus on the dealer to prove that whatever you did caused the problem, when the parts used are made by another part of the VAG group and it's installed by a professional then it's unlikely they will bulk.
Besides if you say replace the dump valve with and aftermarket one the warranty is only affected for the dump valve not the whole engine, unless the dealer proves it causes problems elsewhere.
Remember dealers are greedy they want the work and Seat Uk are paying via the warranty!!, lets just say they can 'overlook' modifications if it suits them.
