Hi everyone!
Is it possible to adapt a DV004 on the 20VT in order to have the whooshy sound?
...
Is there any risk or something else?
Thanks

I recently got hold of one again, but no mate it doesn't wrk properly. When we tried it on an Ibiza a long time ago it didn't work at all, safe mode within a few miles.
On the leon it works better, but there's still loads of lag :( Sounds good on a Chipped R though :D

The muppet in me really wants one that does work. My LCR currently feels scooby envy when one whooshes and sneezes past...

Well I'm still working on finding a way around it. But I've heard wastegate chatter on all the ones I've tried at low speed, which means something is gonna die eventually. :(

We can let you have one , if you like it keep it , if not trade in for 007P or money back 100%

Only way I could get a whooshy noise without limp mode was with a cone filter and an 007... stopping the engine from sucking hot air was harder though...
I know of someone with a Leon Cupra running the Forge 004 BOV with no issues at all, myself and a couple of other Leon Cupra owners are using the HKS SSQV BOV with no problems at all either - no lag, chattering, stalling, nothing - sounds really awesome too! ;)
They work much better if you locate them further away from the MAF, either in the secondary place where the re-circ hose goes to on the rear IC pipe or where I have it, in the IC hose just in front of the throttle body. I've been experimenting with a few different BOV's and locations, blow-off and re-circ - HKS in BOV mode at the front is the best for me:

I previously had the HKS at the back before I relocated it, again no running problems at all in this location, but it got darned hot here, and now at the front it is nice and cool:

Well when I run the 004 I end up with mega lag on lift off. But I haven't tried it in the IC pipe yet, got the bits just need the time to give it a go ;)

That's a decent offer - you're on the Bristol Road in gloucester right?
Nice and close ;o)
Does it have the same finish options as the 007, which , unless I'm vastly mistaken can be had in the same kind of finish as the OEM valve?
when you fit it which pipe do you block, would this work on a lcr
don't DV's need (to work as best they can) to be right on teh turbo or as close as possible?

if i change my d/v round its a rec, i get a louder sound and it feels smooter seems to hold the boost to
