Folks,

No response on the servicing costs here, but I have since found these out.

Does anybody know anything about getting DVD's fitted to Alhambra's? In particular, there is a factory option from the brochure for around £800. Apparently the dealer fits this. Has anybody had one fitted? Any experiences, problems things to watch out for?

Cheers
Chocka

Forgot to add, I meant getting one fitted toa new car, if this helps. The other option is getting a system once it has arrived, but some of these seem quite expensive- like £1,300 or so. The one bought from SEAT drops down from the roof.

I bet yoiu could goto an ICE specialist who'd supply & fit it cheaper. whereabouts are you in the country?

I'm sure a dealer would only send it off to said specialist & mark it up for you.

Thanks to the both of you.

I am in Surrey, near Epsom. What I would like ideally is the flip down screen from the roof. In terms of entertainment, PS2 sounds good, as it also plays DVDs. Option 2 is just DVD player. Jey, k11jrp, can you give me an idea of a cost for these 2? The headrest mounted is probably not my preferred route, but I am flexible. The dealer's cost for the DVD is straight from the brochure, and they have confirmed that 'they get it fitted'.

Cheers folks
