yeah I can join the club my glovebox is scratched and the trim running along the door sill is scratched badly how could seat get it so wrong with the shite plastic they use I have got a three year old mazda van which gets banged around inside the cab a lot more than my seat and yet the only scratch on the plastic is where I slipped with a knife and even that is not as deep as the one on my cars glove box which was caused by I dont know what probably a feather or a tissue paper It dont take much to scratch the plastic.

Looks like a common problem then. Nobody any idea's? Would a place like Chips away do anything? I know they repaired my dad's front bumper after he had an argument with a bus and melted part of it. Not sure if they could though cos it aint painted. Gonna make some enquires with a local Auto trimmers see if they can help.

Yeah let us know stephen, as the scratch looks really nasty in the sun. Tried using auto glynn plastic cleaner to try and darken it, which helped a bit but not enough for my liking.

Had a look in the Yellow Pages and there was a few places that do Dashboard/Plastic's repair's. Look under Car bodywork services. Im getting a quote on monday from a place. So ill let you know the cost!

UPDATE!

The guy came today too have a look at the damage. Said it looked ok to repair. Half an hour later finished! Now you wouldnt even know there had been a mark there! The company i used were called Colorworks and i believe they have operators across the country. The cost was £55 plus vat, not cheap but worth it in my opinion.
