Picking up brand spanking new 1.4 16v sport from dealer on Friday afternoon. Dealer (Premier, Stoke) threw in chrome grille kit, which will look nice on imperial blue, but rear spoiler not available from Seat "at this time". Dealer was ex'lent so far, but we'll see if they keep it up. Will keep you informed. Little "Rosa" has her own web page HERE (http://www.petergknight.com/seatarosa.html)

The demo car I test drove at Premier Stoke last week was for sale at about 8000. Yellow. Drove well enough to convince me to buy one. If you chase it up tell'em I sent you! Talk to Ross in sales.
Welcome to the club mate.
Enjoy the modding. My advise avoid putting on 17's as it is to much like hard work but they do look good once they are on there.
speak to you soon no doubt.

Jon.od - I own a LupoGTi mate, the Arosa is for my sister :)
She drove my LupoGTi and fell in love.....( I have to be careful what I say here, for fear of being linched!) ..... but she can't afford the GTi so is going for "the next best thing" - the Arosa 16v.
*enters diplomatic mode*
I hang around here cause the Arosa being very similar to the Lupo I can pick up little tricks and bits..... but the modification scene for the Arosa's is alot bigger than for the Lupo, cause apart from the GTi, the base Lupo's aint that nice, really.
Where as all the Arosa's look decent right across the range.
Sorry fella ! I admire your sisters taste. I nearly bought the lupo GTi myself but that would have been all my pennies gone with none left for mods. Credit card land would have been on the horizion!!!

I very nearly bought an Arosa 16v meself...I sat in a Lupo Sport, and thought, man, this sucks, and I assumed that the Arosa was the same spec...
But then I sat in one, and its so much better than the Lupo Sport. "Proper" seats for a start! Looked alot nicer too. And cheaper.
Lupo Gti's were all £11k+ used, and I could have got an brand new Arosa 16v for £9500 with a bit of haggling.
I thought...hmm....that £1500 could go on a nice set of 16's and a lowering kit, and the insurance would *still* be cheaper......but then I came across the GTi for £9999, and I had to have that instead ;)
But like I say, my sister is still after one I think, if she could only sell her 206XS....market is flooded with em :(

GZA,
Is that the silver one thats down at RPM? VERY nice if it is. Last time i was there i guess you were fine tuning the rears for the 17's. Seriously spot on motor though.
Marc
Was that yours that was in the workshop on that lovely saturday morning.
If it was then it dont look to bad. How come you came back in 5mins later if you dont mind me askin.
And yes that was mine that was up on the ramp. I was giving it its 12 month service and yes giving the rear arches a bit of a beating with a hammer, well i wasnt one of the boys from the body shop was as i havent got the guts to beat it in. I was busy modding the spacers so they would fit on. The spacers have now come off to try and reduce the rubbing. The only reason i put them on was to try and reduce the vibration i was getting through the steering wheel.
See you soon no doubt and next time your car is in pop into the sales department and say hi.
Chow for now

Whats everyone done in the way of suspension???
Anyone gone for a full kit or are some of you on Springs? What make?
Currently looking at a kit for me Lupo (I assume std setups are very smilar?), but I can't lower mine :(
So I want a fully height/damping adjustable kit (NOT Coilovers) - anyone running anything like that?
GZA (Colin) - are you the same Colin in the sales dept that sold me my kiwi cordy? (in exchange for the green toledo with the wing)
If so nice to hear from you! have you recovered fully from your basketball accident?
nice to hear from you to scott.
Almost recovered from the accident. awaitning another op on my left wrist as it is permentaly dislocated now which is nice.
Great party piece though.
Speak to you soon
