we've just taken delivery of our 3. 1.6 reference in emocion red, 1.9TDi styelance in eclipse blue and a 2.0fsi sport in tinta black.
very very good looking car!!!! the rear lights are very cool [B)] and it's not often i help the workshop out with roadtests but i just had to have a go!!!! (since i also missed the motorshow due to a house move) all a very good drive but the best had to be the 1.9TDi!!!! and i cann't belive how many pockets they can put in car, but all of them useful!!!! The dashboard is also very nice not the normal grained plastic but a rather nice effect!!!!
A very nice car that i don't think us dealers will have a problem selling!!!

Sat in an Altea Sport at the Canary Wharf Motor show. At 13 Stone and 5'10", I'll avoid the Sport model as the seats are far toooooooo figure hugging for me!
Lovely car from the front, but like so many they let the bog cleaner design the back although it's better in the metal than in the pictures!

Saw one in my local dealer yesterday with a cover over it in the showroom (so I guess it hasn't been officially 'launched' yet?).
Quite a big car and much more rakish than it's cousin the Touran so you get a fair bit of metal for you money it seems.
I saw one on the road in France. It looked like an (even more) ugly PT Cruiser to me I'm afraid.
Saw one in the carpark at work this morning. Didn't have time to stop and look as there was a new Alfa GT three space further on :)
My initial impression is that they both don't look quite right (only got a rear view as it is a multistorey c/p), but the Altea looks less right than the Alfa
Just My opinion. Maybe the looks grow on you after time.
