alrite every1,

got myself a 1.2 'biza and so far i love it. ride is a bit bouncy but part from that everyfing is sweet, specially the gearbox (smooth as ****). got the new k&n indiction kit for it an all. was wundrin wetha 17's will fit snug in my arches and whetha i need spacers coz my mate's are v. close to the callipers up front.

also, i need to do sumthin with my engine to giv it a bit more 'ooomph'. any suggestions (part from buyin a 1.4/6 thank u) :rolleyes:

was thinkin bout re-mappin engine..
is it expensive tho?

any otha suggestions would be much appreciated.

th bigger the wheels the better the clearance on the calipers, as long as you keep the correct offset, or did you mean something else as far as the spacers are concerned?

No, I didn't mean anything concerning spacers or anything but seriously, think about it. If you have enough caliper clearance with the stock 14" wheels, wouldn't you have even more with 3" bigger wheels? :confused:

I understand your mate's calipers are very close to the rims only if he's got some biiig Brembos or something!

17s will fit, your car will feel as slow as a turtle though.

Why not buy my 16s from eBay and everything will be cool! (well, it will be for me!) :) You probably wouldn't even need to tell your insurance company!

Yes, remember that bigger wheels give makes the acceleration worse. Lowers rpm's, though, so at motorway speeds it might be a bit more silent and might consume less. :D
