right maet , as far as loudness, i personally dont think that its the backbox that makes all the noise as my sportstek doesnt seem to have much in the way of baffling inside, yet it burbles a bit at low revss then doesnt seem to get any louder, think its all got to do with the middle section and its bore & thickness.
bodykit wise, i have recently got my f2 bumper fitted and have to say it looks brilliant, because of the rareness of the cordy coupe its pretty hard to get hold of anything really different than the usual rally type stuff, not that im complaining!!
twin headlights look really well but are a tad pricey for what they are, think it costs around 400 all in painted and fitted, you could have a chip, induction kit and aluminium door pins for that!!!
If you want a decent exhaust system, try powerflow, I, eventualyl will be getting my system done there as im not overjoyed about having a twin pipe box on mine at the moment, think it needs a single slightly bigger one that can be moved into a cut out in the bumper..they can make it as loud, quiet or shape you want!! I was getting quotes of 325 for cat back for my 16v cordy..

I wonder if cordobas in general dont produce much of a exhaust note. I went with OVV to buy a powerflow backbox for his Cordoba. Although it looks the dogs we asked to have the exhaust note deep, but its not very loud at all. Maybe its just common in cordies

you can get a cordy to make as much noise as you want, as i said its a case of getting bigger bore cat back with a decent grade of stainless steel, not too think but not wafer thin either.

If you want a LOUD box - get the rage one from SC Performance! - with the straight thru supersprint centre section it was rally car loud - popping and all!
unfortunately the old bill, and probably the housing estate I live on didn't appreciate it, so I got a rally spec centre resonator box welded in - has it quietened down any?... not much! - as those going to the trackday will find out.
Its not straight forward to fit, as the box is only about a foot long, as opposed to the 3 feet odd normal one, so you need to get a pipe + reducer knocked up to fill the gap (and the universal bracket they supply is a bit wimpy - so I've go uprated mounts fitted).
Also if you want an alternative to the F2, check out the Apollo bumper fitted to mine, bit different (at the moment!) and fits a lot better than the f2.

Which supersprint did you get? It is very quiet when you first get it but it get's a slightly deaper sound after a while.

Mine fit's perfectly and sounds great but I agree with brendy, the sound on mine is more to do with the downpipe, cat, centre section all being a Seat UK special and being a larger bore. It's not noisy, just sounds niiiiice... :D
