Ive been offered a set of 17" OZ Vela's for my Ibiza Cupra. The only thing is, im not sure if they will fit okay without buffage.
They are a 35mm offset with 215/45 tyres. Is this gonna cause me any problems, both with the suspension standard, and when it gets lowered (40mm) in the next few months?
Gary as far as I know you have to have 205/40/17 with a 38 offset, I was told that 45's are too big and will cause problems but I am sure that some of the other buffs on here might be able to shed some more light on the situation!

The wheels will be OK but you'll definitely have to cahange tyres to 205/40x17. Check the width 7" fine 7.5" max.

i`ve just this week fitted 17in fox 1 evo`s to my ibiza. running 205 40 17, they dont rub at all although are close to the spring seats. im looking to lower mine 30mm in the next few weeks and im hoping that there will be no problem, it honestly doesnt look like it will cause any.
Today i saw an ibiza cupra with 215/40/16
and it is really wonderful :-)))

i take it with 17's on your car that it still drives ok. What happens if you have people in the car, would that cause problems. Only that I'm thinking of purchasing some new alloys, i was going to get replacements for my Super T's and stick with 16 x 7 inch. but going by the comments on here, i might opt for the larger size and go for 17 x 7 inch on 205/40/17 tyres.
I'm just after some re-assurance really!!!
