Not sure if you're aware but the forum clock is running slow again.

Currently showing 20:09 (GMT + 1) but it's actually 22:01

Cheers

Basically it cause the server had a thrombie in the night, the hosts sorted the reset, but it defaults its time back to US time, though were hopefully only a few days away from a major server upgrade, so touch wood that will sort it.

currently right in teh middle of swapping servers as & when your DNS settings update

then once we can see that we're on teh right server we can change the time.

then the new server won't fall over as the load is so much less, then the time won't be reset :)

Nope Vern, the server upgrade has been in the pipeline since around Jan/Feb, we decided we needed the extra growth after the success of the new website, and all the extra members that have joined, but funding restraints and time issues delayed it until now.

Recent problems with server dropouts and these time problems have brought it to a head, server is in the process at this very moment of transferring over, it may have even transfered now, waiting for DNS changovers.

There has been several upgrades to the vBulletin software the forum runs, over the past few months including a patch update only the other day.

We try to keep it as seamless as possible, to lessen disruption. ;)

Indeed - currently you're using some of the new server, but some of the old server too.

That's down to Martyn being a clever bugger that it's so seamless

I doubt it'll be any faster (it's not slow now) but it'll just not crap out (so often)
