Should I stop using my K+N panel filter

I just took out my K+N panel filter after 50000 miles to reoil it and clean it, and i started worrying about my MAF.

I dont want to knacker it up by contaminating it with oil!

Do you guys think i should go back to using paper filters :confused:

i personally wouldnt use an oily type filter, its known the MAFs are dodgy, so no point tempting fate. A green filter is a little more MAF friendly, or the standard filter changed regularly is fine.

I would re-oil it, but DO NOT over oil it. Use the oil sparingly.
Over oiled filters tend to knacker the MAF, but the lightly oiled ones seem to be OK.
