Aye Aye lads,
Not long to go now, 1 week til the beast is sprayed and sorted with all the mods.
Cant wait - on the subject of mods, exhaust is starting to get louder - kinda hard to run it in cos i only really use the car back and forth to work. Needs a nice long drive in on a dualler.
Twin headlights, yeah they are pricy but they do look smart.

maybe nexdt time, when i went to crail up here, i didnt go on the track, was to ashamed cos my car was looking battered and bruised, once I get all this kit on then I will feel like a new man.
There still aint no sign of this mesh, I dont know how Stuart is sending it but it still aint here.
Can u ask him cos time is running out, if it dont arrive by friday I will have to go buy some for Monday.

the mesh should arrive today, (or arrived late yesterday) let me know if it does please Chris.
Chris - can you give Stu a call ASAP, if you still haven't got the mesh he'll send you some more via securicor (;) :D ) to make sure it arrives with you for friday. Ahh the great british tradition of privatising things like the postal service works wonders....

I have been tryig to call Stuart all morning, his phone has just been ringing out - there is no sign of any packages.
Originally the bumper was going to be sent to the dealer I got my car from, but I changed it to get it sent to my work.
Can you maybe try and get hold of him to see if he has sent it to the Seat Dealer instead of my work ?
My works address is in Aberdeen, and the Seat Dealer is in Forfar - Car Services.
Feel really bad, cos it must be costing him a fortune on post.
If u speak to him, can u get him to call my work after 1pm on 01224 656777 or my mobile after 5.30pm - 07801 233330 to find out whats happening.

I've just spoken to him, its due to arrive today according to parcelforce's schedule, at your work. Apparently there is some bullshit about scottish parcelforce having different delivery schedules to uk - and he was also told its wasting his cash sending it next day delivery, as they won't do it anyway - charming!
I remember when I was a lad, you stuck a stamp on something and that was it! :D
its a big middle finger up to ANC and Parcelforce :D :p :D
Excellent, nothing in the post today, but fingers crossed it should arrive 2morrow.

Well lads,
Thats it, the day has arrived !! Car rolled into the bodyshop still looking somewhat battered from my Jan encounter with the fox, and all going well should come out of the bodyshop on Friday.
Have waited for nearly 2 months, and now I have to wait another 4 days before I see all my new mods.
Ach well, the wait will be worth it. In the mean time its good old public transport.

I remember when mine went in and had to wait that long, thankgod for my bike.
I could bike to work, but I think I would look like a twat in my suit, not thats its far to go, its just its all uphill on the way back home,

Bloody typical, phoned to get my car back on Friday Morning only to be told that the guy who was doing is has been off sick all week. That means I have another long week next week while I wait for it to get finished.
So how do you console yourself when you cant got cruising, you go out on the piss on London.

Car still aint ready, guy is really ill and might not be back to work til next Monday, bugger.
So I thought I would take the car out of the garage so I could at leat use it to get to work, bad move.... puncture yesterday so had to get a new tyre..... thats the old wallet £100 lighter.
So that means no Crail, or local meets for me for a while.

Its been some bloody wait, ach cant complain though the cars gonna look mad once its finished.
Decided that Iam gonna give up work & go to Uni, so the car may have to go at the end of the year anyway... unless I win the lottery.
