Went to Autotech.....Worsley today...
Cheers lads!
rang up at 0930 am and even though they were busy they booked me in for an 11oclock revo session.
rang insurers and uprated my policy for £57...
20 minutes later...job done! :) :thumbup:
As always with Revo....you don't notice the full effect immediately.....but 40 minutes later my car is now a beast...
2nd and third gear has the car leaping forward with real vigour....
...and on the road it matches known benchmarks set by my old 20vt...
ie 60mph up this steep hill
80mph by x signpost
and 100 mph by the top of this hill
etc

Revo didn't use to quote specifics before....but they have changed their website..
They have my upgrade listed as 190bhp and 290lb ft of torque..
Feels as fast as my 20vt did before revo if not slightly faster...not quite as quick as an R but bloody quick for 50mpg :clap:
I'm not really ragging it though except a couple of test bursts....only got 500 miles on my new car so far you see.
I'll let you know how fuel economy is now while I'm still driving it steady..
the torque makes it feel like a beast round town though... :D
how is the ride and handling mark?

what happened to the couple of thousand miles you were going to put on before getting revo'd ??

I am taking it easy....while its running in I'm playing a new game....the novelty of watching my mpg hovering around 50mpg....
With my old 20vt I had to struggle to get 33mpg.....took too much restraint....
It will be run in soon....and then!!!! :p

Ive noticed my economy has dropped by almost 10mpg after putting 17"s on.. dunno if its the rolling resistance of the toyos, or just me hooning it more with the extra grip

Even i never got an average that low 40mpg was about my worst.

Dunno how you guys drive, but my last fill up was 48.2mpg (mixture of Town, country commute to work!)
Even if i give a good thrashing i get 40+
Only got 2500 miles on it though
