Can any SEAT TDI's be set up for extended service intervals, or are they only capable of running fixed intervals.
Some Skoda & VW's can be run on extended and they use the same engines!

I asked my dealer this the other day and the anwer was no , not at present. There has to be a sensor in the sump to monitor oil quality.

Thanks.
I guessed SEATS would have to stick to fixed intervals. When SEAT get bigger in the fleet market things will probably change.

i think it is a con my m8 has a skoda octavia vrs from new, and he has variable servicing on his. it can be fixed as well so he waits for his servicing light to come on so it could take two years or 20,000 miles. they use castrol longlife oil in it thats the same engine thats in the cupra and cupra R.the cupra R has a bigger turbo so seat are ripping all of us off again.:censored:
