i came across a new shape cordoba sx in either fast car or max power just before xmas which had a plain boot handle ie it wasn't the SEAT logo which they currently are. Anyone know if you can buy one for the Arosa or if you have to get one made up.
Let me know as i think it looks ok

What did it look like? was it same colour as car or chrome or other??
Sounds interesting.
As an aside what did you have to do to your car to get your induction kit fitted?

the badge looked the same apart from the fact that it was plain metal rather than being a SEAT logo.
Engine cover needed to come off then the air box kit then simply bolt on the induction kit.
Remember where you put your engine cover to as they break when you step on them

The lock sound as if it is a custom one off, I thought i had the mag but cannot find it?? bummer

Will see if i can nick the MD's Didgy cam and take a pic for you. Engine dont look to good at the mo though as you can imagine seeing as it has a broken engine cover which is glued back together again. Got one of the lads in the bodyshop going to fix it for me with a bit of filler and spray paint.

will post mine when i'm done, will make sure to place my cover in a safe place during the operation, easy to do though.
I was setting up the twin carbs on my beetle and my portable rev counter/voltmeter thingy was propped on the back valance, I thought I was all finished and shut the lid and smashed it!!!!! cost me £120:eek:

Wont be doing that again then.
Just needing to sort my ice out then i will be happy. Going to take it to car shop in taunton a VW specialist who supplies Alpine Audio. Going to give him a grand and say i want it loud.

I've just finished my ICE but not to that extreme, but I'm happy with it, which is the main thing.
