New Alloy Forge Dump Valve question

Hi yall.

My new Alloy forge dump valve arrived today after I decided to order one on this site's recommendation. I'm getting it fitted on Saturday.

Just a quick (and probably silly) question:
Do I need to tell my insurance company about it?

Well that will be up to you to decide.

It does not increase the performance of the car so I reckon you will not need to tell them, although it is a modification.

If you tell them then you will be at peace and it will probably not effect your premium as BHP is not increased.

Just make sure you tell the Insurance that it is a replacement and does not increase the BHP of the car
