Howdy all,
My 8V Cupra has developed annoying squeeky brakes (front only) when ever I brake (only when i brake soft to medium, never hard) does anyone have any ideas about what this could be? Its bloody annoying when i drive round town (yes showing off) cos people just look and think haha he's got squeeky brakes.

Poor quality brake pads use to squeak, but it's not the case here i think. My 16 valver used to squeak a ver very little bit too (not annoying at all, but it's not 100% silent). Buy a can of brake cleaner aerosol and apply, maybe that will help.

Mine had too mate. It's 7 months old now and has stopped so I'd just be patient with it and turn the stereo up!

Cheers
