Alrite guys,

was in Halfords 2day with the old gift vouchers again! :D .....
Nah, was with a mate who has a 1.4 16V Golf which is aparently a single point injection.

Anyways, he was after a 57i K&N. However, the guys there told us they only did *elements* for his car. They also said that a bolt on induction kit like the 57i would decrease power instead of gain power as it is not MPI.

Im asking as some of the older Beeza's have single point injection.

How true is this????????????????

you can get induction kits for Spi engines, what year is this golf?

the Golf is a Y/2000 reg

Any disadvantages to the induction kit on SPI???

Also, if u could find a good one, that would be amazin ;)

I wouldent beleive any thing that halfords say in the ripspeed bit;)
