For Pete really but any other help is appreciated !
Righty then, i have a problem, well my sounds do anyway. Ive had a bust RCA connector for a while now and decided last week it was time to get it changed. So i did. and it worked, until i turn the engine on. I get a EXTREAMLY load whistle from the rear speakers which follows the rev of the engine. So i things, mm faulty cable, try another one and it does exactly the same. Bugger. The interesting thing is tho, that if i remove either the front set of RCA or the rear set of RCA, leaving just one connected, the noise goes. Now i am no expert on ICE so im nackered now. It was working fine untill i changed the fackin lead! LOL. Ive heard that this can be caused by something called a "ground loop", problem with the earth connection or summat. Both amps are connected to the same earth but the radio is on its own. Is it worth buying an aliminator and connectin to the RCA or is there a more simple solution? Just for info, i have two amps, one to drive the front and rear and one for the sub.
Can anyone help me!!??!!
