I have asked my accounts director to get a cost from the leasing company we use on the following spec Altea.

I will post when the price comes in (Standard Leon Cupra is about £300 per month).

Seat Altea 2.0 TDI Sport

Paint: Platinum Grey Metallic
Rear Parking sensors
Satellite Navigation
Aerodynamic kit (ref: 5P0071670)
Wheels: 7x17 Oz F1 cup anthracite alloys

Your views on the above spec would be most welcome, (I think)

I wouldn't have them wheels (they're quite dated now) but other than thatI reckon I'd have the same.

Just thought they would look good on the platinum grey.

Besides, they are probably the best quality alloys I’ve come across, scrub up as new every time. Also never really look dirty, just a darker shade of grey, (anthracite).

What lease company are you guys using?

I'm with Hertz / ALD and when I got my Cupra I was "lucky" because I got it with metallic paint at £333 p/m. Currently it is now £362, and the Cupra R is £464. Blatent rip off to me by the sounds of it!

(That's based on a 4 year or 100,000 mile lease.

I agree with that Bazzer, it's just the fact that every man and his dog had them in 1999 that puts me off them.

Cupra R's are expensive on the lease due to the greater expense of tyres, brake pads and no discounts available on R's. Leasing companies can get discounts on Cupra's / TDI Cupra's.

Bazzer - What annual mileage are your quotes going to be based upon?

4 years, 80,000 miles.

I will try to get 60,000 next time as this makes quite a difference to the monthly lease cost.

Yeah that would be a good base, a lot of companies base their quotes on 60k per 3 years (20k per year).
