Hi all,

Anyone got any tips or hints on what to use for cleaning and maintaining the leather trim (steering wheel, gearknob, that kind of thing) of your car?

I agree with Ed - can't go wrong with Liquid Leather and it isn't even expensive.

Thanks for the replies :) I take it all of the above wont make the steering wheel too slick? :)

Not at all with Liquid Leather. In fact it makes it grippier because it moisturises the leather.

What about doing the suede/alcantara centre sections of the seats??

Thanks in advance

Was Garth recommending Liquid Leather in one of his threads? (Whatever happened to him?)

He had an excellent thread with before and after pictures...the transformation was stunning.

Yes, liquid leather.

I wouldn't use it on the Alcantara though!

Alcantara is man-made, so it just needs to be cleaned if it gets grubby - you don't have to feed it like you do leather. I got ketchup on the seat in my RB5 once but it came off with a damp cloth (thankfully!)
