Ok i need some advice here from anyone who knows the area. I need to get a full camber and alignment done on my Ibiza and have just spoken to the local dealership who want to charge me £170!!!! anyone know of a reputable place in this area who can do it for a better price.

I'm guessin you're talkin about Sidlow in East Grinstead. I live just round the corner in Crawley Down.
There's a good garage in Crawley called Auto Repair Unique Services. Don't worry bout the long winded name, they're a great bunch. They're located in Spindle Way, which is just along from the leisure centre.

I used to work in the office above their garage, and used to take my escort there.
Not sure how much they'll be able to do the work for but they always do a good job there.

Just checked your website mate and noticed that your working at Reed Information in EG? In the middle of the one way system I do believe.
I used to do work for them when I worked for a company called Omegabyte, (there were a couple other names they used over time!! :rolleyes: ). That was about 4 years ago, don't know if any of our PC's are still there.
Don't work for them any more though, they had the offices over ARS (Auto Repair) in Spindle Way. Small world huh?

yeah, blimey is a small world. What area did you do work for? if you dont mind me asking. Anyone else from around this area? maybe we could arrange a meet up sometime?
Did work for just about the whole building! If there's any Omegabyte or Kingston Pentium computers there, I built them!
Can't remember the name of the guy we dealt with, in fact I knew most of the IT section, but I can't remember any of their names. :rolleyes:

no mate live about 40 miles away on the coast but drive in every day. Lovely stretch of road between handcross and turners hill. Especially if theres no one in front of you! :D Will keep an eye out for the PC's :)
Bloody hell, it IS a small world.... I live just down the road in Crawley. My girlfriends parents live by the speed camera in Easst Grinstead.
Ita Sidlow Seat that I'm trying to get a replacement windscreen with... firstly they offered me clear glass, I said no i want the green visor and slight green tint as I have now, so they offered a grey tint NO, so they offerent the correct colours but with a rain sensor on the screen.... NO!!!!! I want the exact same screen as I have now. Eventually they said they could get one but it would have to be imported.... 2 weeks later the have the screen, the man comes round to fit it and guess what... its just a plain screen, wrong colours and no visor!!!! Anyway, they reorder the correct one... promised to be here last week but wasn't.... finally spoke to them yesterday... "Oh yes, the screen came in but its cracked, we'll have to order it again!!!!"!!!!!!
Its lucky I only have a cracked screen and not a completely smashed screen because I've been waiting nearly a month now!
Also, one of my mates worked there and he said to NEVER take your car to Sidlow Seat as they are not Seat trained mechanics.... the will do more damage than good.
I take mine to Caffyns in Burgess Hill, but they wouldn't touch my suspension setup.

I know the very speed camera, saw a BMW get flashed once, he'd just overtaken me n' I slammed on the anchors! :D heheh

I live in Worth Crawley, near the roundabout that takes you over the motorway to the Copthorne hotel roundabout.
If it hadn't been so bloody windy on the day I think everyone would of been a bit more sociable.

Is that the mini roundabout by the Texaco Garage? Worth's only about 5mins drive from Crawley Down! Good road through Rowfant, bit bumpy though. Better road between Worth and Turners Hill! :D
We'll have to have a Sussex meet in the next few weeks.

Wasnt at the track day im afraid. In the process of selling my car so didnt want to run the risk of damaging it. Have done alconbury a couple of time in the past though and they are great fun. Wont be using Sidlow then! :D Gonna have a chat with RPM and see if i can arrange for the person who might buy the car to take it to them and i will pay for the setup to be done. Sounds mad but i just want the car to be perfect for the next owner. :( gonna miss it when it goes :( gonna go and sob in the corner now. :D Meet up would be good though.
Either of you two coming along to the Bluewater meetup?
It's this Sunday, and we're meetin up at 12.00...

Cant mate will be in birmingham, dont ask! otherwise i would be! :D will try and make it to the next meet if i possibly can though.
I'm probably gonna be working in the US for the next couple of weeks, so wont be able to make the meet this time.
What car are you getting after you sell your current one?

Not really sure what im getting yet. May even be getting my old punto GT back of my sister. THing is i do about 80 miles a day so what ever car i get its gonna loose money fairly quick cos of that. Would love a jap monster though :D not that that really maters cos im not getting much interest in mine :(
