Well it was one of those weekend days - off to York shopping, then headed off to the McArthur Glen outlet.
We were heading into the dull gardening section and what do you know - no benches or parasols or bbq tools - but the full range of SEAT cars! The Mrs sighed but this kind of shopping i can enjoy!
I'm a Leon boy & was disappointed by the TDI SX they had on show - hardly likely to pull in the punters with a price of mid £14k.
Not seen the Altea in the flesh & I was very impressed - more with the interior which is much more modern than my MY03 Cupra. Wiped the floor with the ahem 'new' MG collection at the front on the outlet. The 2 litre FSI had sat nav & looked to have a few toys. The back end still doesn't seem right to me though.
Not tempted myself as with no kids etc but on first detailed glance anybody who gets one should be very pleased - the engine is a work of genius so that should not be a problem (My bosses word - he has the A3!)
