Someone at Amethyst: Whats the official line on bonnet resprays under warranty?
Have SEAT recognised there is a problem here (see the other thread which proves there is) or are they going to bury their heads in the sand on this one.
just seen ya post , i'll ask G what's what , all depends on what's wrong and how etc etc , unless its perforated (rusty in normal speak) which is covered by the perforation clause

If you are not going to get this paid for by warranty or some other way. Instead of paying for the whole bonnet to be re-sprayed get a chap from "Chips Away" a mobile re-touching service that the trade use. It's now dealing with us Joe Publics and they usually work out cheaper.

Its only going to get worse over the next 6 months so if I can't get a proper coat of paint done under warranty, then I'll wait until I'm about to sell the car (by which time the bonnet will be entirely white ;) )
