Cam Kits - 2.0 16V Cupra

Hi folks

Does anyone have any experience with Kent/Piper/Schrick cam kits for a '98 Cupra (2.0 16V 150hp)?
About to give it a head job and management system - aiming to get 190-200hp for track work.

Appreciate any feedback.

Split duration schricks in 260/276 work well for normal induction motors. (when mapped to suit) http://www.badger5.demon.co.uk/bin/schrick-2.jpg <<for specs.

RobT on here runs 276 schricks with our throttle bodies (Badger5) and a lumenition ECU (we use DTA). He has some good power results from his combination. 217bhp & 170lb/ft torque. He had 180bhp before the change to our throttle bodies.

My own 2ltr 16v in a Jetta runs 260/270 cams in a gas flowed head, and gets 174bhp @ wheels and 152lb/ft torque on the dyno, with >130lb/ft from 2700rpm. I should mention that our car runs on our Direct to Head throttle body product.

Shrick cams were developed for your 8v.

I think JB sells em - so do other specialists

Many cams available for your 8v also.
Schrick, Kent, Piper to name just a few makes..

Autotechnic offer a range of cams and mods if you wanted to talk more detail... That number again (pimp mode :D) 02380 ******.

Cams are best fitted to gas flowed heads for their best performance.
