Yahoo.
Saw my new car today and sat in it....
Still covered in grime and dust and wax etc.... but shining brightly despite this...
Must be cos its Ovni Yellow.

I was'nt sure until I saw it sat there today. Bright and in your face, but what the hell. No excuses for anyone pulling out in front of me - unless they left their guide dog at home.

Took a couple of photos, cos I'm sad.

Met Daz - Very nice helpful informative bloke! (don't get too big a head Darren!)

Roll on Sept 1st..... Its just too hard waiting.

Car did arrive with Pirelli's Asymetro something or others... it's off to RSD in a week or so to be seen to before I get it.

Delivery to Amethyst from me asking was a couple of weeks. Many thanks to them by the way, as I was facing a 12 week delivery otherwise !!! Ahhhh!
I am hanging on for new 1st Sept registration though, so the extra few weeks are of my own doing! In between time RSD are having it though. Roll on Sept 1st.

Is it still the 11th??? DOH!

i'm off to play with my Jetta now, until I can get the beezer.

fun fun fun! here I come!
(my current road car being an Audi A6 2.6 auto by the way - so the beezer is way off the scale the other side nearer my jetta)

I'll be there..... Not sure what car though as I will have a choice.... they got funny last time I wanted to take 2 cars on track and came back with some BS about paying twice. I can only drive one at a time! I know the guy who is organising the actual queueing, so this might help smooth things this year. I would like to take both.

thinking of it, this might be possible as my Jetta's sponsors (Autotechnik in Southampton) will be there, so being trade (them and me) we should be able to go round unlimited times. If I book myself, then I could in theory get both on track. That would be cool!

Its a good day though. I have'nt booked yet, which I must do, as it is limited spaces.

Are you going to Gti International 2? Clashes with Trax 2001 though I think.

Bill
