Monitor all sorts of things - e.g. air intake, boost levels.
Check for any faults being logged
Turn on/off different functions - e.g. one button unlock, flashing indicators, plip when alarming etc.

You can't do that much on a mk3 ibiza.

does it come with a book called 'VAG COM FOR DUMMIES'? LOL

Seriously is it user friendly or do you have to be a technician to use it? Oh and how much to buy?

its got some diagnostics which a child could use but the measuring blocks need a little more knowledge.
Tests and engine error codes are easy peasy, knowing what each measuring block means is a little more complex as they range from revs, throttle angle, %, temps etc

hmm, sounds like an investment, especially if in time something does go wrong with the car. Seat like most dealers charge an hours labour just to diagnose!

I've read you can change other stuff like window roll up and alarm chirps etc, i didn't realise those parameters were anything to do with the ECU?
