View Full Version : Eagle F1 Tyres
Hey is anyone running their Arosa on the Eagle F1 tyres yet? I plan to fit a set of Eagle F1 on my standard wheels since Goodyear make F1 in 185 55 R14. This will be on my new Arosa 1.4TDi which I have Superchipped though the fuel saver tyres take a lot to wear out no matter how hard you push them!!!
Eagle F1's are good tryes. When i bought mine it was a choice of the F1's or Avon ZZ1's. I decided to go with the Avon ZZ1's on mine mind you the wheels are not standard. 205/40/ZR17
Only reason I went with the Avon's is because they were a couple of quid cheaper.

They were once "The" A-list tyre, only for the rich sort of thing, but very reasonably priced since Toyo stole their limelight by being just as good but much cheaper.
Still a great tyre, though. Defiantely worth a purchase, or look at the Toyo's who are as cheap, if not cheaper.

I tried Toyo Proxes T1-S and was very dissapointed in them compared to my usual F1's. I sold them on ASAP. They were cheap as chips though at the time. - £30 for 195-50-15

How do they compare price wise to the Eagle F1's?
I'm looking at getting some 16" BBS RK's for the Lupo, they now supply there wheels with Toyo TS-1's now, they used to use Yoko's before....
