View Full Version : Difference between AQX and AYP (Ibiza 20VT Engines)
I am wondering if i should try to upload the AQX software into my AYP engine. What are the differences between these engines, except for the post cat lambda probe. If the AQX software would work on the AYP engine, i could de cat the car :).

You can decat it anyway. AYP will just show you a yello light on the dash that's it. You can reprograme your ECU to ignore the fault that's causeing the yellow light.
Mmmh actually i've disasssembled the software, but to be the honest i don't know which portion is responsible for the post cat O2 CEL. Do you happen to know it? That would be a solution, too.

no sorry I don't but my tuner does. It can't be done via VAG-COM you have to log into ECU.
