displaying Speed on LCD display

I got told by a friend that u can make the LCD display on the clocks show your speed, is this true and how is it done, my cars a Cupra D 53

I have looked at that and it does not mention how to do it on the Ibiza. It is just getting the 1c I am having problems.

Did anyone ever crack this for the ibiza 20vt as i've just printed off the codes from the sticky of problems...blah, and sure enuf it don't won's for ibiza's!!!
