Ibiza 20vt ICE

Guys

Anyone fitted an amp and sub into their Ibiza yet? If so where the hell did you run the power cable into the car from. I've had the glovebox and the lower plastic panel off but there is wires and metal and stuff everywhere.

I'm thinking of giving up and paying someone coz I'm a bit of a lazy git and have no patience with this stuff.

Never fear Malky

There is a gromet, take out the glove box, and pull back the carpet in the passenger footwell (helps if there is 2 of u)

Have a feel up the back, and u'll get hold of a cable that runs to the gromet.

Then remove your header tank/bottle of its mountings get a hand (small preferably) and stick it thro the gap and have a feel, you'll see the gromet down there.

Always have a liverpudlian with small hands nearby tho (pete)

I posted instructions and pictures on how to do this.

I managed to do it with only one of me (not particually small hands) with the aid of a coathanger. I didnt need to rempove the glove box either.

If you still need the 'tool' to thread the wire I'll sell you mine ;)

(Then I can buy the missus a few new coat hangers - She says they keep dissappering)

Well got the power cable through no problem Bit of blood shed but nothing to life threatning!!!

Just got to connect all the wires together now and it'll either work or blow up. I'm guessing the blowing up bit is more appropriate speaking from past experience.
