HI Guys,
I've been hearing alot about VAG com and was wondering if you can help me with the following:

Does the VAGCom software work on a 1.4 mk4 beeza?
If so what can i monitor with this software?
Can I do any damage to the car/ ECU by using this software?
Will my dealer know that i've been using VAGCOM or not?
Is it a definite must for all owners or more of a toy to play with?

Thanks,

Chris

Yes.

Lost of stuff. From temperatures, to revs, emissions, speeds, etc etc

Can I do any damage to the car/ ECU by using this software?

Yes, if you are a muppet.

Will my dealer know that i've been using VAGCOM or not?

Nope, I very much doubt so :p

It's a great tool to have, but as a toy, it soon looses its appeal - there's only so many times you can have a play around with things.

Yep it clears fault logs from the ECU.

That said, I don't think it can clear the "warranty void" ones!

excellent! any ideas where i could get one from and what sort of price i would be looking to pay?
im sure i read somewhere that you have to subscribe to get the full benefits? if this is true and i didnt subscribe would i still be able to reset these errors?

slightly off topic, but im replacing my tdi sport with a tdi cupra next week and noticed that you have both cars

did you have a custom remap on your cupra mate? ive got my dynatwist from my sport and was hoping that it would fit straight on the cupra, is the intake the same? has anyone put one on the cupra yet?
