Got my hands on another one of these, i had one before i got the car chipped then sold it.
Decided to get another one just to try it, i've tried it on 2 ibiza's and a golf and all 3 boost to 4psi and no higher! they don't even boost high then cut back which i expected it to do!
Have i got a duff valve?
Any ideas?

sounds like limpmode, reset the ECU for vagcom or disconnect the battery for 10 mins then try

when the J or the stock one was refitted again all 3 cars boosted as normal
Some of them have a screw adjuster in the base of the coil. Might be closed up
Open it up

is this adjuster inside one of the barbs?

Hijack, fickle, if this is still linked to your email, any chance you could reply to your personal mail.

as i'm here ;), is this the valve that needs to be installed the 'wrong' way? IE the long barb faces the other way in order for it to work?
just a random thought.
N75 if other than stock means a reverse fitment
IE Electrical connecter is 180 degrees to standard position.
Stock item has a screw adjuster(small flat bladed electrical driver will fit)
It can be opened and closed but use caution as the whole assembly is potted and delicate.
Just had a look at my J valve which is off the car and it doesn't have the adjuster.
maybe your 75 is fooked
The interesting point on 75's is the boost delivery.
My LC came up with these results on a good quality Smiths Gauge with an Upsolute code.
Standard fit valve car pulled 1 bar boost which fell away quite quickly to standard as the 6k mark approached.
N75 J Boost cranked right to 1.4 bar which held longer before dropping to 12 psi/10psi as 6 k approached..
I read loads of threads from 20vturbo.com/SCN/UKmk4's where people were expirimenting with these things and the conclusion was don't use the H spec as it invited limp mode.
I have done a good few/hard miles with my J and not once has my motor dropped into limp.
My LC took to the J spec well.
I recall it cost around £50 and was the best tuning mod yet
Sorry I can't be more helpful
