Bumpers n Stuff

First post so I hope I'm in the right place. Used 2 av a Cupra, crashed it n now insurance dictates a 96 1.4 CLS 3 dr (Good Base) Please help, found a 99 Ibiza in a breakers. Wanna put the rear hatch n the rear bumper on mine. Will they fit? Mine needs a G/box 085 after only 55K will the 99 fit? Different mount points but it might just be bolts? Many thanks

Bumpers & hatch will go on fine.

make sure you seal up the bumper well as else it'll rot behind it.

re: gearbox - centre bearing perchance? mines been rattly since 55k (now on 103k) but on it's way out properly.

Get a recon one off a Polo or golf of the right engine.

Thanks for the info, picked up my rear bumper, tailgate, and gearbox last night £240 for the lot off a 8K mile car. Going to get a web site sorted showing my updates. Got to pick a load more brains though. :)
