Hi Everyone,

I am new to this list and test drove an Ibiza Cupra 1.8T yesterday-what an excellent car. I was very impresed with the suspension for a standard road car. I have looked at www.micronetshowroom.co.uk (http://www.micronetshowroom.co.uk) who are selling them for £10567 OTR and you can order full leather for an extra £200!
Do the uk cars come with ESP as they have it listed as an option?
What are your views on imports?
What do you think of the RSD/AMD engine upgrades?
How old are you and what sort of insurance are you paying (I am 22 with 3 years NCB)

Many thanks

Ben (MK1 Golf GTI 1800)

Hello
sorry I thought I had replied... but I guess you did'nt receive it.
I liked the ibiza a great deal. It was a fun car, especially compared =
to the staid VW Polo and Lupo Gti's.. They were also too much =A3=A3 for =
what you got.
i tried a Leon cupra also, but this was too boring for me, and had to =
many faults to want to but one. (rear visibility, not trip computer, =
plain interior)

The RSD conversion is a good sound one. I was there Friday watching my =
new ibiza being upgraded ready for 1st Sept collection. Its not OTT, =
drives like factory, except its on steroids comparitively. Very lively =
in such a small package...

You could liken it to a refined grown up MK1.
regards
bill
