Hi Guys

I'm wanting to get a strut brace for my beezer 20VT but I don't want to fanny about with my dealer to get a SEAT sport brace as I can't wait until the cows come home..if you know what I mean. I have been quoted £50 for an OMP one with an adjustable center..wanting to know about warranty issues and experiences from people who have them fitted,

Also I want to rear wheel spacers but I can only find 4mm, 9mm and 32mm..would 32mm be TOO much or can I get away with it on STANDARD wheels ?

As you may have noticed I am trying to sort the ride out a little bit WITHOUT going suspension mad..

Your input is gratefully received

I actually managed to get a set + bolts at Larkspeed for £25 The only thing I can think of Bill is that yours are better somehow!!?

One question for you is will 32mm be too much ?

Cheers

£25! Bloody ell.
Mine are H&R and are hubcentric, ie centre of the hub and engage into the wheel hub itself. TUV approved.

£25 is incredibly cheap. The bolts alone cost half of that.

I can't see how they can be comparible to the H&R's, but good luck to you, they are a demon price if comparible in quality. You generally get what you pay for though.
32mm per side? Too much. They will stick out of the wings, and if you lower the car at all, you will likely encounter major tyre to arch rubbing. The +20mm per side spacers I have been supplying work well on the stock 6x16 wheels, adding more stability to the ride etc.

Good luck to you though. I do hope they engage on the hubs securely, and don't rely on the bolts for anything other than clamping.

So does 2x20 i.e a 40mm (Carol Vorderman me!!) track extension make a noticable difference bill? Might try the mod out myself....(when I finish my 'amusing' front of car tweaks!)

Ta.

I think so.
The car feels more settled down, and less fidgity at the rear, and rides the bumps much better.
So far all the feedback I have had, other people also are finding the same improvement.
Hope this helps

Bill

Bill,
Do these fit with 17" wheels?
Does the longer bolts include a locking one?

Regards steve

Hello,
I don't know re the 17" wheels, I have not tried.
7x17 might be a tad big, but it is very close. Depends on how low you are running.

Locking bolts are not included, just longer radius seat bolts (some 60' taper seat bolts in stock also at the mo - dependant on wheels)

Bill

Bill,

Have you got any of your H&M kits left?

Would they fit a standard <99 1.4S Beeza ??

Considering getting a set.
