Hi All
Just a tip to take a look at the front engine mount every so often if you use the car in a "spirited" fashion - the metal bracket that bolts to the front of the engine and then onto the rubber mount in the subframe
Well mine has broken - its made of 5 or 6mm sheet steel and its broke clean through.
Mind you there's only one front engine mount on an ibiza and a lot of load going through it, especially when braking heavily
£30 from VW for a new one for my mk2 ibiza 1.8 16V gti - same as Mk3 golf 1.8L cars with 020 gearbox (not gti's)
