Panasonic 9062 is the original CD Changer of the Ibiza.

I have just bought the sony and converter from Halfords.
£199 Fitted.

If there is a cheaper way to get a changer for the 20Vt Ibiza someone let me know !

Crofter: which model of the converter and cd changer did you bought.

Panasonic is way to expensive. You can get 3 times better cd changer for 5 times less money, but than you need a converter and your fu** again. Seat shame on you.

I'm interested in any cheap, but not some no name brand cd changer that can be plugged on the serial cable in the BOOT with the converter.

Primekart: I think that Panasonic stoped making the model you mentioned.

I looks promising , as the auto changer it self use's RCA conectors !!!!

There fore theres nothing to stop you puting a Line driver with a gain control which can be mounted to the dash and act as a volume contol therefore giving you the Preout to power the amps !

Yeah baby Yeah

Crofter, what is the convertor that you are talking about?

Does it allow any CD changer to be connected to the Changer cable in the Ibiza?

I believ that a company called connect 2 make a converter that allows a sony changer to run though the panasonic OE. But since it uses Rca conectors between the changer itself and the convertor there's nothing to stop you taking a feed from the changer to a pre amp and miss out the head unit and connect to an amp through the pre amp .

Do you get me mate :)
