If you want to talk about good handling cars then I honestly think the Focus is a hard car to beat !

My Mum has a TD Focus and everything about it is sh_t hot , from the stereo that takes 6 disc in the dash to the Engine that rev's like a petrol.

I Fn love them :D , but lets not forget that's there still isnt a Fast Focus in the showroom's ! If there was I might not be the proud Cupra R owner that I am today.

Just a shame it's a Ford really

Nice M-way cruiser IMO - nicer comfy though not sporty in the one I had (not sure what one as it was a hire car)

Puma - fine - but fiesta dimensions don't fit me :)

ST170 out now £15k and RS220 end of year £20ish???

ST170 approx 7.9sec 0-60
RS220 approx 6.5 sec 0-60

Of course this is still all to be verified from Ford, but this is what they have leaked for us to date.

Focuses (Focii?) - nice in a straight line, and go round corners better than you think they will. Shame about the roly poly suspension and seats that don't hold you in place. Shame they look so pug ugly...

Anyway, my thoughts are kinda between responses on the poll, so i've not voted...

Not bad, drove a 1.8 5dr from northants to Lancs and back, better than I expected, but definately not nimble. Used to run a 2.0si mondeo and it felt like that, heavy but not a problem, just felt like you had to exagerate and work hard in your actions.

The looks put me off TBQH, and I'm not one for owning anything "mainstream" (the mondy was a company car b4 you ask ;) )

There are certainly worse cars out there, but I don't think this is one of the best.
