Hi magic!

The only thing I found was a german thread here (http://www.dieselschrauber.de/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4937) (translated (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.dieselschrauber.de/phpBB2/viewtopic.php%3Ft%3D4937&prev=/search%3Fq%3D17970%2Bvag%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D))

the advice seemed to be adding lots of diesel "cleaner" (STP stuff) to an empty tank and it seemed to work for the chappie on there.

Also found another thread with the same error (+ others) http://www.ilexa.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=11;action=display;threadid=252

The last comment in the thread might be worth investigating ?

dont wanna scare ya too much but...

I had this on my fuel pump from contaminated fuel from an unknown source. ended up with a reconned unit from bosch. if you unit is failing pray it is a mechanical failure and get it done under warranty. if not it can be expensive. new unit cost £2000+ recon units are about 1000 but i claimed on me insurance due to an "unknown 3rd party" damaging my car.
