How's the new Beezer then mate? Done many miles since 8 this morning? Run her in yet? http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif

I've been on the lookout for a gleaming yellow blur http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/cool.gif , I was even out in Stroud earlier. Where are you hiding?

Enjoy!

630 miles on it now.... Can't stop driving it!
I know whats its like to keep filling up though!! owch! thirsty little thing. Can't get more than 31mpg out if it yet, but the engine is tight as hell being new etc.... Met RSD today at Gti international 2 (which was crap by the way) and Danny reckoned on 5K miles befor eit loosens off. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/frown.gif
Nearly gone through the 1000km being nice to it stage. Torque is great. Am intrigued on its power delivery at the moment though. Sometimes there's a lot more push than others under acceleration for no apparent reason. I am keeping on eye on it until I have worked the rpms up the range as per the manual. (I've never been so kind to an engine http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif )
So far so good.
All I seem to have done this weekend is drive it about.. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif nice realy. Got to rainX my windscreen though.. Miss that from my Audi, with all the rain today on and off I forgot it works so well. Should work great on the Ibiza as it has quite a raked windscreen.
Going to fit a boost guage myself to see what the surging is all about. Always interesting to see it.

Nice to be in the cupra "club" properly now.

thanks for asking.
Me is a happy chappy. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

bill

I'll keep on the look out for it in Cheltenham. Really can't wait to get mine now (December). I'm getting it standard, but don't think it will be very long before the 210 mod is done http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif.

Cheers

I've just remembered that I got some rainX free from the motorshow last year. I'll dig it out and try it......

Glad to hear you're enjoying the car, and as for 31mpg, I only got 26/29 for the first 6 months!

Go carefully! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif

Cheers

26/29... Oh I'm not trying hard enough then! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
My flat spot on boost may be down to running on 95UL. Too tight to go looking around the county to find Super UL. RSD are sending me some Millers Octane boost to try.
So far so good ...
Noticing how many Gatso's are pointing skyward ot groundward on the A40 Oxford route yesterday http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif How did that happen! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif

Bill,

Yeah, I went to Bicester last Thursday, what a great sight, I chuckled at every one. Especially the one that is lying flat on the floor, thought about taking it home for a nice ornament! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif

As for the petrol, I definitely noticed the improvement with 97 RON. Can't wait for this Optimax stuff, although the website says it'll take until 2002 to get to the South West. Bloody typical!

Cheers

2002 - typical!
No channel 5 (maybe not a bad thing)
No Nicam
No ITV digital
No cable

Barely electric you'd think!

We're not all farmers stuck in the 18th century in the west.

Ah, I'm not stuck in the valley so I get all of the above. Although only Nicam and ITV digital are worth it.

Channel 5 I've watched twice and cable was always going wrong in my area.

I've run that Optimax stuff and it seems to pick up really well, although there are a few reports of steep pricing (more expensive than Super UL)

Let us know how u go on with the gauge, i want to fit one to mine, but dont know how or who to do it.

As for the different boost "surges" i get that now and again, i reckon its down to the crappy re-circ DV, will try Forge one soon.

1800 miles and mines 4 weeks old today.

Much fun http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
