This is sort of complicated so bear with me please.
My friend bought a 1998 cupra but without the remote control key. We don't want to go spend £60 on a new key and program it only to find out the car has a faulty signal receiver or even no receiver at all.
I thought I'd reprogram the remote key of my 1997 SX and see if it unlocks/locks the cupra's doors. If it works we get a new key for the cupra. I am afraid of doing something to mess up my SX's keyless entry system. Will it easy to revert to the SX settings once the testing is done? Is there a danger of anything going bad?
Thanks
