My brothers just about to buy my Leon Cupra from the finance company...
Now in the three years I had the car, its gone thorugh 2 complete sets of pads and discs (2x front and rear) and about 10k ago the back pads and discs needed replaing as well.
The thing is i haven't had to pay for any of this, but when the brakes go again, my brother will have to pay next time.. so my questions is:
Shouldn't a light indicate on the dash to let you know when the pads are getting low, so you don't trash the discs as well ??
Also, in 75k of driving , my rears have worn out first three times, and the fronts are dur to go for the third time in about 3k miles. I always thought that the fronts should wear first du to the weight of the car shifting forward when deccelerating ?
