What MPG do you get out of yours?

how fast is yours?

also my low fuel warning light came on when I still had just under a 1/4 left, other cars I've had came on when they hit red?

Just lately my wife has been driving it. I just filled it up on monday. 39mpg - obviously she's been a bit naughty as it's down about 8 mpg! Top end well it's a hypothetical 120 officer but I have never been over 70 myself - honest! Though I am reliably informed by my Polish dwelling (send speeding tickets to "Sbigneiw in Hubrizow" officer) twin brother that it does get up to 130 indicated (I am running a tuning box on it-ssshhh!).
Hope this helps.

My Arosa TDi now has 20,000mls on the clock, going for its second service on Friday.

MPG varies wildly depending how I drive it, although it definetly improved after the first few thousand miles.

Best I've had was 67MPG, the worst was about 48MPG - when the engine was still very tight.

Average seems to be around 54-55MPG I do drive it quite hard though, If I back off I can get 58-59 quite easily.

I have heard a few stories on here about TDi PD oil changes and services, with this been my first diesel im a bit confused.

1. a lot of people seem to have oil changes before the service is long due, is it just toping up or a full change, whats this about caps and filters??

2. is it true they can only use special VW PD oil????

anything about oil changes would be appreciated? as well as advice on the well being of it.

I've also found when slowing down in gear 3rd or 2nd it seems to want to just carry going when even the accelerater isnt even pressed. I dont allow it thou expecting it to stall!?!?

bye all

Stick to the service book which say's every 10,000 miles or 12 months for servicing if thats what the manufacterer(?) says then thats fine
