View Full Version : Stupid Question No 2
Should the Ibiza Cupra come with a wheel lock 'key' to get the alloys off? Can't see a mention of one in the handbook.
Noticed my parents Leon came with one supplied loose in the car manuals wallet.
Before some wiseguy says get off your arse and have a look, its pissing down outside http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif

Yes they do. There is a wickle hole for it in with the spare tyre, amongst the tools. mine however was in the glove box.

Yep in the tools moulding in the back with the spare, there is a tiny sort of slot, in that slot you'll find a little tool.
That just pops in the cap, and tug it off
Took me a few mins to find it, when my car went in for its new alloys.
Even the bloke who was fitting them was confused http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

Chips are nicer in Engines than with Fish.
DOH! Obvious when you take all the bits out the boot. (Also found the cigarette lighter for the car in the jack!, too much Sol beers had been drunk by our Spanish friends who built my Cupra I think).
Whilst giving the car its first proper clean today I've noticed that the wing mirrors are different sizes, the passenger side one is a likkle one a bit like an M3 stylee while the drivers side one is more a 'normal' size.
Is this normal? I've tried looking at all the pics I can find but none of them give a great view, and being as the amount of Cupra's in my area seems to consist of...er, me,myself and I, I'm at a loss.
Someone go and have a look at theirs.

Yes, the passenger side one is smaller than the drivers side one.....it was designed like that on purpose.
I think its rather cool!!!
And before you ask....yes, the passenger door IS supposed to be de-locked....in case you thought SEAT forgot to a lock in there!!!

I agree,very cool!!!
Hadn't even noticed the de-locked door.
Another nice touch.
Been too busy driving the thing. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/redface.gif
