When to Tune?

Hi, I'm new to all this including SEAT, so forgive any cockups.

I've a got a new IBIZA Cupra (just 250 miles on the clock) My question is "who run in does the engine need to be before you start chipping etc." 1000, 5000 10000 miles ???

Well some have chipped from the outset. I'd recommend at least a couple of thousand miles at least before considering chipping.

My own Leon was chipped at around 5000 miles.

But on the flipside, some have chipped from new with no bad effects.

in all honestly it doeas not really matter when u get ure car chipped as long as u dont get too heavy with the throttle when running in. if like me u find this to difficult then like mark says leave it for about 5000 miles. this gives the engine time to bed in properly
