I noticed this bit of rubber sticking out from the drivers door handle the day I picked the car up (see picture). I only noticed it wasn't on any of the other doors when I washed the car. I cannot remember if the car they loaned me had it or not.

Has everyone else got this? If you have do you know what it is there for?

I can't remember seeing any other Altea's like that. I'll have a look at work tomorrow... I think it should be on the other side of the door to be honest

Thats not right... looked at mine I am sure that should be tucked behind the door skin. One for the dealer to sort.

I have got to get the dealer to change the hand brake cover as it is split and also I only have the TDi badge on one side!!.... otherwise everything is okay.. so far :)

I had a look at a few Altea's at work today and none of them were like that

As Greeny says that piece of rubber should be slid on the inside of the door skin when the handle is slotted in.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I shall pop into the dealers and get them to put it right.
